Sketchnotes

Bring ideas to life - in real time, or as a lasting takeaway.

Sketchnotes turn talks, workshops, and big ideas into clear, memorable visuals. They capture the signal (not the noise) and help people make sense of complex thinking quickly. If you’ve ever left a brilliant session with pages of notes you never revisit, sketchnotes are for you.

What are sketchnotes?

Sketchnotes are visual notes made from a mix of handwriting, simple drawings, icons, shapes, containers, and connecting lines. They’re a thinking tool - a way of listening, selecting what matters and showing relationships between ideas. They can be created: Live (during a keynote, panel, or CPD session) After the event (refined versions designed as handouts, posters, or digital assets) In advance (to introduce a concept, model a framework, or support a programme)

Step 1

Understand the "why"

Sketchnotes turn complex ideas into clear visual summaries that are easier to follow and remember. By combining simple visuals with key words, they support dual coding and can help reduce cognitive load by organising information and signalling what matters most.

Step 2

Choose your format

Pick the approach that fits your event and audience: Live sketchnotes (created in real time during keynotes, panels, workshops or CPD). After-event sketchnotes (refined, polished versions designed as a takeaway) In-advance sketchnotes (created before the session to introduce a framework, model, or programme).

Step 3

Choose your takeaway

Decide how you want your sketchnotes delivered: Print-ready A4/A3 posters or one-page summaries, delegate handouts / “key takeaways” sheets, digital downloads (PDF/PNG) for follow-up emails or QR codes, social media crops for LinkedIn and event comms.

Step 4

Book your sketchnotes

Share a few details about your event (date, format, and what you’d like captured) and I’ll let you know what’s possible. If you have an agenda, slides, or speaker notes, you’re welcome to send them over - they help me plan the structure and key themes. From there we can discuss further!
