Hi, I'm Jen.
Teacher-Researcher-Creative
Hi, I’m Jen, the person behind Future Proof Teaching. I’m a Lecturer in Digital Transformative Education at Leeds Beckett University, a Technical Teaching Fellow with the Education and Training Foundation and the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, and a doctoral researcher in Education at the University of Sunderland. My background and subject specialism lie in the creative arts (graphic design) - a field that shows the power of visual thinking, experimentation, and storytelling. Creativity is my superpower; it underpins everything I do, from classroom teaching and curriculum design to research and professional development.

I’m also passionate about professional development and have delivered national training on AI, assessment, and innovation for educators across the FE and HE sectors.
